Foam-Type Gels（NP Gel）
NP GEL is a light and durable silicone foam material. Unlike polyurethane foam, NP GEL has a very low compression set, does not wear out easily, can be used in a wide range of temperatures, and has high long-term reliability.
- Characteristics
- ●This is a lightweight and highly durable Alpha GEL foam material.
- ●With a low compression set, performance of NP Gel is maintained even after repeated compression.
- ●Highly flame retardant and operable in the -40°C to 200°C range.
- ●Good for outdoor use because it is highly resistant to weather and ozone.
- Application Example
- The only 3 mm thick Gel foam sheet effectively absorbs shock, making it possible to decrease the thickness of the helmet. This results in a lighter weight further extending the possibilities of design.
